Condition Monitoring Service Engineer

1st January 2012 - As our customer base and list of specialist services continues to grow, we have a requirement to recruit a Condition Monitoring Service Engineer to join our existing team who service our customers throughout the UK.

Duties will include: - collection of condition monitoring data from plant items and machinery, using techniques such as Vibration Monitoring, Thermal Imaging and Oil Sampling. Setup and implementation of condition monitoring programmes with the support of existing staff.
With flexible working hours and based from home, the Service Engineer will be required to travel to companies within their region on a daily basis, working on a broad range of sites from Food and Drinks Producers to Quarries and Manufacturing.
Following an initial 8 week training period, candidates will be responsible for a number of contracts with support from the Service Manager as necessary.

Candidates should have the following qualities.

1. An engineering background with an understanding of machine maintenance.
2. Good communication skills with an ability to liaise directly with site personnel.
3. Computer literate with an ability to produce daily reports for transmission back to HQ
4. Condition Monitoring experience is preferred but not essential as appropriate training will be given.
5. Clean drivers license and a willingness to travel is essential.
6. Occasional stays away from home may be necessary.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience + Car and other benefits.
Annual Holidays 20 days plus statutory days (increasing to 25 with time served.)
